About This Site

After a few years of collecting vintage pens, I found myself increasingly drawn to one brand: Montblanc — particularly models made before 1959, a period I consider the golden age of their craftsmanship. Though my collection remains modest, my curiosity about these pens quickly turned into a passion for researching their history. I began digging into old advertisements, catalogues, seminal books on the subject, and engaging in conversations with some of the world’s most knowledgeable collectors and experts...

At first, I built a private website to organize my findings — but soon realized others might find it equally interesting or useful. Since my collection could only go so far, I invited fellow collectors to share photos and insights. Thanks to their generosity, the site now features images and information on many rare and beautiful vintage Montblanc pens, some of which are rarely seen. This is a completely non-commercial project, created out of love for these remarkable writing instruments. I hope you enjoy exploring it — and if you have an interesting pen to share, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I really enjoyed my interview on Fountain Pen Association of India’s webinar series! I talked about how I started collecting and restoring pens, did a mini show and tell of my collection, shared strategies I use while buying pens, and answered some audience questions. It was fun!
